NOAH News] Pro Wrestling Noah announced two upcoming GHC title matches as well as the event cards for their upcoming Jr. Tag League which begins this month.
Naomichi Marufuji announced that his first defense of the GHC Heavyweight belt will be against Katsuhiko Nakajima this month on July 21st at the Hakata StarLanes. Marufuji is looking to begin his journey as the GHC Heavyweight Champion by showcasing his complete abilities as the “King of Offense”. Marufuji knows that there is a lot to carry by being the GHC champion and he believes he is in the proper frame of mind to be the worthy champion. Nakajima though will be a huge test as he has proven to be a formidable foe in the past and is building his own path to being a future champion in his own right. Nakajima recently holds a victory over Kensuke Sasaki and not many can claim that right. Nakajima could very well prove to be challenge, but a challenge he is willing to accept. He is aware that Nakajima will be out to prove himself, but Marufuji as well will be looking to do the same.
Noah also announced that the GHC Heayweight Tag belts will be defended on August 2nd at the Differ Ariake. As the reigning champions “Dangan Yankees” Takashi Sugiura and Masato Tanaka will be defending against “Muhammed Bomber” Muhammed Yone & Daisuke Ikeda.
