Ring of Honor, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, announced Tuesday its first syndication deal to broadcast ROH TV outside of the Sinclair family of networks.
ROH and MyNetworkTV affiliate WATL-TV in Atlanta have agreed to a broadcasting deal that will put ROH TV in a Saturday timeslot beginning this Saturday, September 13.
WATL-TV is owned by the Gannett Company, as opposed to being a Sinclair affiliate airing ROH TV in syndication.
It appears ROH will continue seeking more syndicated distribution through TV companies outside of the Sinclair network.
"We will add an additional 2.4 million television households through today’s announcement and are in discussions with additional companies for syndicated distribution," said COO Joe Koff in a press release. “This is a very exciting start to developing ROH’s broader syndication distribution."
