This is the report from Day 2, the final day of WWE Live at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Match 1: John Cena defeated Bray Wyatt w/ Luke Harper and Erick Rowan

The match, unusually a starter for Day 2, was a physical contest, and although there was outside interference, but John Cena took advantage of the distraction and hit the AA for the pin. Great pop for Cena, although Bray had a decent pop

Match 2: Adrian Neville defeated Bo Dallas, Sin Cara and Sami Zayn in a fatal-four-way match for the NXT Championship

Variation of Friday’s match, although there were tremendous pops for the faces, while Bo Dallas had major heat. There were intense high-flying spots, including a powerbomb by Dallas onto the three guys from the turnbuckle. Sin Cara didn’t botch during the match.

Match 3: Los Matadores defeated Slater Gator in a tag-team match

Repeat of Day 1’s match, although the Malaysian crowd gave Los Matadores a huge pop with the ole’s and barked with Titus. Honestly, it was quite boring in the middle.

Match 4: Big Show defeated The Miz

While The Miz got huge pops from the Malaysian audience due to his promo tour, Big Show got a bigger cheer as a fan favourite. No surprise.

Match 5: AJ Lee defeated Paige for the Divas Championship

There were some CM Punk chants, however the match was very receptive. Both divas had reactions, although Paige had a huge heat towards the end.

Match 6: Kofi Kingston and Big E defeated The Wyatt Family in a tag-team match

Repeat of Day 1’s match, with the faces getting huge pops, while Harper and Rowan had heat.

Match 7: Sheamus defeated Seth Rollins in the main event for the US Championship.

Honestly, this was a surprise considering that it was changed from the planned tag team match. Great match, and Rollins had the biggest heel heat that I’ve ever seen. Sheamus was a total babyface to the crowd, and he won by a Brogue Kick after Seth tried to hit Sheamus’ face with the MITB Briefcase. After the match, Sheamus celebrates and said that the WWE is looking forward to coming to Malaysia again in the near future.

Notes: The WWE Live tour in Malaysia was a huge success, and as a Malaysian, I’m quite proud to see the crowd excited for every match, from those grandpas, guys and girlfriends who don’t watch WWE, kids who are on Cena's (and Rollins’) side, and the rest. However, this was a crowd that’s quite new to this house show concept, yet was well behaved and sporting. And let’s hope that they’re having a safe journey back to the States.
