AJPW News] All Japan announced more matches for their New Years shows including defenses for every title belt on the first two shows of the year at the Korakuen Hall.

The January 2nd show will kick off the new year with lead-in matches for the January 3rd show as well as the main event featuring the World Tag belts in defense. As “Wild Burning” Jun Akiyama & Takao Omori take on the “Dark Kingdom” team of KENSO & Mitsuya Nagai, with Akiyama & Omori seeking to reclaim a loss the suffered against the challengers in the recent World’s Strongest Tag League.

The the January 3rd show has been stacked with 4 title matches to be held, with the previously announced Triple Crown match between Joe Doering vs. Go Shiozaki. First up KENSO will be putting his recently acquired GAORA TV belt on the line against Ryuji Hijikata. With KENSO stating that DK aims to start the new year right by claiming the World Tag belts and the Asia Tag belts as well. As the Asia Tag belts will be on the line on the show with Kento Miyahara & Kotaro Suzuki defending against Mitsuya Nagai & Takeshi Minamino. Then Atsushi Aoki will be making his 6th defense of the World Junior belt as he goes against DDT’s Keisuke Ishii. Keisuke stated that this has been his “secret” goal from day one since making his first appearance in All Japan. Keisuke called Aoki a strong champion, but he is ready for the challenge to make his dream come true.

Then outside of the title matches it was announced that DRAGON GATE’s Shingo Takagi will once more compete in the All Japan ring as he teams with Zeus to take on the team of Suwama and Hikaru Sato. It has been one year since Shingo first competed in All Japan and this truly does point to them potentially setting something up for the future.
