As we reported several weeks ago, a bidding war for Brock Lesnar’s services is expected to take place once Lesnar’s WWE deal officially expires following WrestleMania 31.

The three main parties involved in the war will likely be WWE, who will seek to retain Lesnar, UFC, who is interested in a Brock Lesnar return, and UFC’s competitor Bellator.

Bellator President Scott Coker has indeed confirmed to MMAFighting.com that the promotion has reached out to Brock Lesnar. Coker was sure to note there haven’t been any formal negotiations, as Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, but the reach out was more of Bellator’s way of “saying hello” to let Lesnar know the promotion is interested in signing him.

“There hasn’t been any serious dialogue,” Coker said. “But when the time comes to have serious dialogue, we’ll be right there.”

I hope he does go to Bellator. The UFC needs to be taken down a peg or two.

Signing with Bellator is like going to the prom with the buddy girl of a clique because the 2 girls you really wanted to go with declined your request..

Bellator doesnt do ppvs and Lesnar has proven that he is the king of ppv draws, he would never pass on ppv points from the ufc to sign with the, far away, #2 promotion.
