WWE Diva AJ Lee is currently out of action for a few weeks while she is dealing with an injury, but there has still been a lot of negative talk surrounding her lately.
AJ’s Slammy speech was focused on, and it was speculated that she first was saying a subtle goodbye to fans, but The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting she was actually taking shots at the WWE Divas roster. The way she spoke was not the same way the speech was originally scripted, and AJ was very complimentary of Paige, but seemed like she slammed the rest of the Divas.
In addition, it’s being said there is some backstage heat on AJ Lee for taking time off to be with her husband, former WWE Superstar and new UFC signee CM Punk, in Las Vegas for UFC 181. There may be more to the story as she was removed from the WWE Main Event introduction video last month after another backstage incident, but this was said to have happened before anyone knew about Punk signing with UFC.
