Following the outcome of the last show the full card for the upcoming Ariake Colosseum show on March 15 has been announced.
With three of the four GHC titles already being announced to be in contention the GHC Tag belts have been added following the outcome of the defense on February 11th. Then speaking of the match itself “Killer Elite Squad” defeated the now former champions TMDK after a nearly 30 minute battle. TMDK immedietely called out for a rematch, that night, after El Desperado got involved and took the chance for the former champions to claim what they believed to be the true finish.
Killer Elite Squad are now double champions being the NWA Tag Champions as well, which they proudly displayed along with the GHC Tag belts. Archer and Smith put over TMDK as a great team, but with that saying that they are not the best. but they are not the best. K.E.S. is “ichiban”, the best team. That come March 15th the same results will be repeated again as Suzukigun will follow in capturing the rest of the belts as well.
Then it was announced that Shelton Benjamin will be getting his match against Takashi Sugiura, though in tag form on 3/15. Benjamin will be teaming with fellow SZKG teammate Takashi Iizuka as they take on the “Dangan Yankees” in Takashi Sugiura and ZERO1’s Masato Tanaka. Benjamin stated that he has nothing but disdain for Sugiura. The two have similar backgrounds in “amaresu” (amateur wrestling) with Banjamin is not taking away anything from Sugiura’s abilities, but that is where the differences lie as Benjamin boasted with his collegiate championships.
Minoru Suzuki has stated that the tag belts were first and now come March 15th SZKG will end NOAH when they will capture and hold the rest of the belts. 3/15 will be a big make or break for NOAH and will definitely set the groundwork of what may be coming as we head into the proper 15th anniversary of the promotion this Summer.
