According to The Wrestling Observer, there is speculation that WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar might owe WWE one more date due to his “walk out” during the February 23rd edition of WWE Raw. As noted, Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon had a business disagreement that night, and it lead to Brock walking out of Raw even though he was advertised to appear.
As of now, Lesnar is scheduled to appear on Raw next week, on March 23rd, and the night after WrestleMania. That would mean a make-up date would be 3/16, as Lesnar is currently not advertised for that show.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Lesnar’s current WWE status, many within WWE still believe he will re-sign with the company after his deal expires later this month.
With regards to his match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, we noted yesterday that the “smart fan” audience at WrestleMania might react harshly to Brock Lesnar as they are aware of his current WWE situation, so officials remain hopeful that Ronan Reigns will gain strong babyface momentum heading into the PPV. As of now, Reigns is obviously not gaining as much of a reaction as WWE wants, but as noted it is improving week to week.
