Yoji Anjo Retirment Match Show “Y.A IS DEAD“, 3/19/2015 [Thu] 19:00 @ Korakuen Hall in Tokyo

~ RG came out to Akira Maeda’s theme, which caused the fans to boo him. A skit was played out in homage to Anjo’s time in HUSTLE, Anjo being the former Commander-in-Chief under Takada’s Army. This then led to the return of HG as he came out to the ring. They both shook hands and posed in the ring.


(1) MAX Miyazawa [Numazu Pro] vs. Kenta Hattori [Kachofugetsu]
◆Winner: Miyazawa (4:03) with a Cross Knee Lock.


(2) Hidetada Irie [KINGDOM] vs. Edward Honda
◆Winner: Irie (6:01) via KO.


(3) Takuma Sano [FREE] & Mitsuya Nagai [DRADITION] vs. Kintaro Kanemura [FREE] & Tetsuhiro Kuroda [FREE]
◆Winner: Sano (9:22) following a Northern Light Bomb on Kuroda.


(4) U-Inter Rules: Tatsuaki Nakano [FREE] vs. Ko Okada [FREE]
◆Winner: Nakano (4:44) with a Shachihoko-gatame


(5) U-Inter Rules: Ryuki Ueyama [U-FILE CAMP] vs. Daisuke Nakamura [U-FILE CAMP]
◆Winner: Ueyama (14:26) with a Spinning Choke.


(6) Minowaman [FREE] & Hiromitsu Kanehara [Kanehara Dojo] vs. Yoshiaki Fujiwara [FREE] & Daijiro Matsui [Takada Dojo]
◆Winner: Minowaman (13:06) with a Heel Hold on Matsui.


(7) Yoji Anjo Retirement Match 3 Fall Match: Yoji Anjo [FREE], Yoshihiro Takayama [FREE] & Kenichi Yamamoto [FREE] vs. Masakatsu Funaki [W-1], Minoru Suzuki [Pancrase MISSION] & Kikuta Sanae [GRABAKA]
1st Fall: Funaki (13:19) with an Ankle Hold on Anjo.
2nd Fall: Funaki (16:47) with an Achilles Tendon Hold on Anjo.
~ “Mr. 200%“ Anjo refused to end the match like that and asked for the match to be restarted with a third and final fall.
3rd Fall: Suzuki (23:03) following a Gotch style Piledriver on Anjo.
~ Anjo celebrated with his fellow compatriot‘s to signal the close of his career as pro-wrestler. Those in attendance cheered as well to honor Anjo one last time.
~ Kazushi Sakuraba and Riki Choshu also came out to honor Anjo as well.
~ Anjo, who is known as a Mr. 200%, stated that there is nothing left and that he is now at 0%. He has no regrets though in his 30 year career and to be apart of the golden era of professional wrestling. He then thanked everyone for coming out and he hopes to met the fans again at his yakitori shop in Tokyo.
