ROH TV Report / Results -18th Apr, 2015
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Announcers: Steve Corino and Kevin Kelly.

Dalton Castle vs Donovan Dijak (with Truth Martini)

Dalton and Donovan argue over the handshake and then when they lock up, Castle gives Donovan a tap on the rear end. Donovan backs Dalton into the corner and he escapes. Castle with knees to Donovan and he backs into the corner. Castle with a running knee into the corner but he cannot hit the bulldog. Castle with an arm drag and then he head butts Dijak in the back of the head.

Castle punches Dijak and then Dijak charges at Castle but goes over the top rope to the floor. Castle sets for a dive to the floor but he bounces off the ropes instead and he gets to Dijak. Dijak is sent to the floor and he returns and hits Castle from behind. Castle is sent to the apron and Dijak clotheslines Castle off the apron.

Dijak Irish whips Castle into the apron. Dijak with a forearm on the floor and then he Irish whips Castle into the guardrails while Truth spins around. Castle is sent to the apron and he turns on the apron and he gives Dijak a head scissors. Castle teases a move from the apron but Dijak moves. Castle with a suicide dive and we go to commercial.

We are back and Castle tries for a suplex but Dijak suplexes Castle into the turnbuckles to counter. Someone from the crowd throws a streamer in the ring, for no apparent reason, but Dijak picks it up and he tries to kick it out of the ring. Dijak with a knee to Castle in the corner and he gets a near fall.

Dijak goes to the turnbuckles for a corkscrew senton. Castle hits Dijak in the thighs but Dijak with an elbow. Castle escapes Feast Your Eyes and Castle with a kick, clothesline, forearm, and a drop kick but Dijak stays on his feet. Castle runs into an elbow but Castle runs Dijak into the corner. Castle with a cross body but Dijak catches him and he hits a knee to the back. Castle lands on his feet and he punches Dijak and follows with a dead lift German suplex for a near fall.

Castle with a knee to the midsection and he tries to get Dijak up but Dijak gets to his feet. Dijak gets Castle up but Castle lands on his feet. Dijak holds on to the ropes when Castle tries for an O’Connor Roll. Castle hits the Bang A Rang but he can only get a two count. Castle sets for another dead lift German suplex but Truth holds on to Dijak’s foot. Dijak with Feast Your Eyes for the three count.

Winner: Donovan Dijak

After the match
Truth attacks the manservants who tried to fan Castle. Truth says something to Castle but Castle responds by going for the testicular claw. Dijak charges at Castle and Castle drops down. Dijak goes over the top rope to the floor.


We go to commercial.


Raymond Rowe and Hanson vs Andy Dalton and Ken Phoenix

Rowe with a clothesline to Dalton and he tags in Hanson. They hit the leg drop Doomsday Device for the three count.

Winners: Raymond Rowe and Hanson


We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time for the Fish Tank with Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly.

Kyle wants to know what is up and he welcomes everyone to the Fish Tank. Kyle says it is great to be deep in the heart of . . . Oklahoma? Bobby corrects Kyle and tells him they are in Texas. Bobby mentions they are three time Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions. They are IWGP Junior Tag Team Champions. Bobby says that carving out a legacy like they have, the word to describe them would be dominance.

Kyle likes that word and he says it makes him think of their guest. For the last 365 days, this man has been the Ring of Honor Television Champion. Kyle mentions that he made his guest tap out and Bobby confirms it.

Kyle welcomes Jay Lethal to the ring and he is joined by Truth Martini who has a Jay Lethal DVD in addition to the Book of Truth.

Bobby thanks them for being here.

Jay says that if you are going to spit out facts, he has no problem admitting he tapped out. It was a three on one match. His partner was not qualified to be in the ring with him. He lost in a three on one match. In Hopkins, you get a shot at the greatest Ring of Honor champion so let’s see if you can make me tap out.

Jay says the only reason they agreed to do the stupid Fish Tank show . . .

Bobby says the fans will tell you this show is anything but stupid.

Jay says they would do one thing for them. They would help promote the Best of Jay Lethal DVD.

Bobby says they put together a little something. Bobby says there is a part where he goes on about his hot ex-girlfriend and it was great.

Kyle and Bobby read off a promo for insomniacs to buy the DVD so they can sleep again.

Truth points out that Jay is the greatest first generation wrestler. He is a legend and he is the Ring of Honor Champion. Truth says that he paid the expense to remove the world television from their title belt.

Bobby says they could put ‘Masters of the Universe’ on their title belts, but He Man has that locked down, so they don’t do that. Bobby says that he wants to address the elephant in the room. There is a World Champion and his name is Jay Briscoe.

Jay tells Bobby not to say Briscoe’s name and Bobby says the name a few times.

Lethal says that name is unworthy and it means nothing. It means used toilet paper. When it comes to Jay Briscoe, that man was born on the highway because that is where most accidents happen.

Jay Briscoe’s music plays and he comes to the ring and a number of referees try to stop Briscoe but that was ineffective.

Briscoe takes the mic while streamers fly. Briscoe says that he is going to tell Lethal something, but he punches Lethal with the mic while Kyle jumps around like a little kid.

Briscoe and Lethal fight to the floor and to the back.

Bobby and Kyle are attacked by the KRD, but ACH, Christopher Daniels, and Matt Sydal make the save before the KRD can do anything.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we get comments from BJ Whitmer and Adam Page about ACH getting all of these opportunities while Adam mentions that he has paid his dues to get where he is. He took pay cuts and carried a bucket of water for BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs. You never paid your dues and they have a one way ticket for him out of ROH.


Michael Elgin vs Cedric Alexander

The fans want a test of strength and Elgin puts up a hand but he pulls away when it appears that Cedric was willing to challenge Elgin. They lock up and Elgin with a chop but Alexander chops back. Alexander with a slap but Elgin with a kick and side head lock. Elgin with a shoulder tackle and he tries for a hip toss but Alexander blocks it. Alexander goes for a shoulder tackle but Elgin does not budge.

Elgin gives him another chance and he gets the same result but Alexander with a drop kick. Elgin with a shoulder tackle and Alexander with a rollup and he drop kicks Elgin off the apron and then he hits a flip dive onto Elgin. Alexander rolls Elgin back in and he goes up top and misses Overtime when Elgin moves. Elgin picks up Alexander for a dead lift German suplex but Alexander counters with a victory roll. Alexander tries for a shoulder from the apron but Elgin with a knee.

Elgin with a Harlem Hangover to Alexander hanging in the ropes and he gets a near fall. Elgin with a forearm and Alexander goes down. Elgin slaps Alexander in the head but Alexander with a jawbreaker. Alexander with a back heel kick and he goes for a tornado DDT but Elgin holds on and he puts Alexander on the top rope for a swinging suplex for a near fall.

Elgin sends Alexander to the floor and he says something to the referee and the referee starts his count. Elgin goes to the floor but Alexander with chops and Elgin wants more. Alexander with a forearm but Elgin with a roaring elbow as we go to commercial.

We are back and Elgin goes for a power bomb on the floor but Alexander counters with a back body drop. They return to the ring and Alexander with forearms. Elgin with an Irish whip and Alexander with forearms. Alexander goes for a sunset flip but Elgin goes for a seated splash but Alexander moves out of the way.

Alexander with a suplex and he holds on for a second one. Alexander rolls through for a third one but Elgin blocks it and he tries for a suplex but Alexander lands on his feet. Elgin with an elbow. Alexander rolls Elgin up and he kicks Elgin. Alexander runs into the corner but Elgin sends him to the apron. Alexander with a springboard clothesline and he gets a near fall.

Alexander runs into the corner and Elgin with an enzuigiri followed by a Codebreaker but Alexander with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Alexander sets for a belly-to-back suplex but Elgin with an elbow. Elgin avoids the 540 and Elgin with a roaring elbow. Elgin with a clothesline for a near fall.

Alexander rolls to the apron and Elgin sets for the Gorilla superplex but Alexander puts Elgin in the turnbuckles. Alexander with a running drop kick to the back. He hits a second one. Alexander sets for a third one and he hits it despite maybe taking too much time. Alexander goes up top and hits Overtime to the back. Alexander goes to the other turnbuckle and he lands on Elgin’s knees on another attempt at Overtime.

Elgin misses the bicycle kick and Alexander with a 540. Alexander misses a springboard round kick and Elgin goes for an O’Connor roll but rolls through and hits a double stomp and then Elgin hits a Yakuza kick. Elgin gets Alexander on his shoulders and he hits a version of Cradle Shock but can only get a two count.

Elgin goes for a buckle bomb but Alexander with a jackknife cover and he gets a near fall. Alexander with Lumbar Check and Elgin gets his foot on the rope to stop the count. Elgin goes to the apron and Alexander follows to the apron. Alexander misses a round kick and Elgin hits a clothesline that sends Alexander back into the ring. Elgin climbs the turnbuckles but Alexander with a round kick. Alexander with a super rana but Elgin rolls through and hits a power bomb followed by a back fist. Elgin with a sit out power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Michael Elgin

After the match
Elgin says that no matter what you say, he is calculated and focused. Focused on making every wrestler in Ring of Honor pay for the sins of the man they follow. When you have the misfortune of standing across the ring from me, Elgin is a killer and you just dug your own grave.
