All Japan announced the full card as well as a World Tag Championship defense for their upcoming “Fan Appreciation Show” on May 31.
The Big Guns, Zues & Bodyguard, made a forceful challenge for the World Tag belts last week and will be getting the first title defense against the newly champions. This will be Big Guns first challenge for the belts in a year.
Also announced is Suwama declaring that Evolution is now “fully armed” and will be unveiling it in the upcoming match. Atsushi Aoki apparently called out for a chance at the Asia Tag belts as he and Hikaru Sato might get a future shot as they are paired up against the current champions in the match.
Speaking of the Asia Tag, SUSHI is now aiming for that belt as he will be teaming with Akiyama to take on KENSO and a former Asia Tag Champion in Takeshi Minamino. Yohei Nakajima is expected to make his return, following a clavicle fracture, as he competes in a 4WAY match with Kotaro Suzuki, Billyken Kid, and Yutaka Yoshie. The previously announced legends match will be taking place as announced. Then Akebono will be taking on both rookies, Nomura and Aoyagi, in a handicap match to kick off the show as Masanobu Fuchi teams with Yoshiaki Fujiwara to take on Osamu Nishimura and Dory Funk Jr.
