TNA has informed most talents over the past week that they will no longer be offering monthly guarantees. In their place, TNA will be offering per-appearance deals.
In the past, TNA paid their talents a monthly fee in addition to a per appearance fee. So if a talent was booked, they would be paid that as well as their guarantee. If they didn't work at all, they still got paid the guarantee.
Some talents will receive a little more per appearance that they were already receiving with the idea that if would make up for the loss of the guarantee. Also, the company is expected to start booking more dates, so some talents could possibly end up making even more money.
A number of talents aren't thrilled about this new concept, and some could possibly turn them down on the new deals and end up finishing up their TNA tenures abruptly.
