Hulk Hogan retweeted the following:

"Wolfshead Online WolfsheadOnline
Bi-racial President Obama uses N word, is applauded and keeps his job. hulkhogan uses N word, is vilified and loses his job."
.
Hogan’s use of the word, repeatedly on the sex tape that was recorded with Heather Clem, he was using it in an obviously racial, derogatory manner.

When President Obama used the word, the context was certainly much different. It was in the context of race relations on Marc Maron’s podcast. Obama said, “Racism, we are not cured of it. And it’s not just a matter of it not being polite to say [the N word] in public. That’s not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It’s not just a matter of overt discrimination. Societies don’t overnight completely erase everything that happened 200 to 300 years prior.”

In other words, Obama was saying that just because people don’t show that they are racist in public, it doesn’t mean that they aren’t in private. You know, like getting caught on tape making a racist rant in a bedroom, behind closed doors.

Hogan has also stayed on the defensive, retweeting words of support from people as well as saying things like:

”I’m overwhelmed by the love and support of the millions of people that never 4 a moment left my side,I'm grateful, truly humbled, only love HH”

”Unless u went through this, true loyality and love has a different meaning,it makes u want to live and not die,4those that never left me I am Forever grateful and love u with all my heart life, only love 4u. HH”

”For those that left me and didn't stand by my side,u will see and I will prove, who i really am and u will also understand my love for u 0LHH”
.
Taking something that the President said completely out of context will not convince anyone that hasn’t already forgiven him to do so. In fact, it will do the opposite and show that he has not grasped the situation he has put himself in.
