All Japan announced that Joe Doering will be undergoing surgery on his left knee after being diagnosed with an anterior cruciate ligament injury (ACL rupture).
Doering competed throughout the July tour while injured but knew fully well that he needed to get it examined. Given Doering has a history with knee issues in the past.
Due to this, he will be unable to compete in the August tour and could very well be on an indefinite miss for the time being. No return date is known at this time and All Japan noted that a long-term miss could be expected.
