All Japan announced the full tour coming up in August as well as the Akebono’s next defense of the Triple Crown belt as he takes on Zeus on August 16th.
Zeus picked up a pin-fall victory over Akebono on the July 18th show and immediately asserted himself as the next contender. Akebono acknowledge the loss and had no choice in accepting the match following another loss over his team the following the night by the hands of Zeus. Akebono stated that Zeus is truthfully a contender for the belt with his power and ever growing experience in the ring, though right now Akebono himself aims to fight and remain the true champion.
The Triple Crown match joins the previously announced GAORA TV match on 8/16, SUSHI vs. Billyken Kid, and the World Tag match on 8/29, Shiozaki & Miyahara vs. Akiyama & Omori.
