The following results are from tonight’s WWE Smackdown taping results in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This episode of WWE Smackdown will air on Thursday, July 30th on the Syfy Network:
Seth Rollins cuts a promo about John Cena and their match on RAW. Cesaro cuts him off, and it leads to a match between the two being booked on the spot.
Cesaro defeated Seth Rollins via disqualification when Kevin Owens (who was at commentary) attacks Cesaro during the match. Rollins also teased a confrontation with Owens, but they ended up attacking Cesaro instead.
Los Matadores and The Lucha Dragons defeated The New Day and The Ascension in an eight-man tag team match
Rusev and Summer Rae and Rusev cut a promo on Lana and her actions on WWE RAW.
The main event is booked as Rollins and Owens against Cesaro and a partner of his choosing.
Rusev defeated Jack Swagger
Rusev attacked Swagger after the bell, but Swagger fought back and put Rusev in the Patriot Lock.
Stardust defeated R-Truth
Stardust cut a promo in the ring after the match but Neville attacked him.
Cesaro and Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens when Ambrose countered a pop-up powerbomb by Owens, and Cesaro rolled him up for the win.
