Recently, on WOOOOO! Nation with Ric Flair, the record-setting 16-time world champion talked about current WWE U.S. Champion John Cena. First, Flair declared that Cena deserves to break Flair's record for world title reigns. Then, Flair stated that Cena is the one professional wrestler he wishes he could have faced during the Nature Boy's illustrious career.

As part of a Q & A on the podcast, Flair was asked how he would feel about John Cena tying and potentially beating Flair's record for the most world title reigns. In response, Flair said he does not dwell on it and that he is not worried about it.

"I'd be thrilled if John Cena tied my record and surpassed it," Flair continued, "I think the world of John and he has been the flagship for the company for a long time and if John were to catch that title again and then he can surpass the record, I would be very proud of him."

Flair also joked that if Cena were to break his record, he would have to play the "21-time champion card." According to Flair, he had to leave the title behind on some islands when it was too hot, but he would always retrieve the championship eventually.

When asked who Flair has not faced in the ring, but would have liked to, he very quickly named Cena and mentioned that it is funny that it never happened. Also, Flair suggested that he would have liked to have wrestled Dolph Ziggler in a more substantial match, noting that he faced Ziggler for "just a little bit" when he was with the Spirit Squad.

In addition to talking about Cena, Flair discussed his picks for the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame, his most expensive bar tab, and many other topics on this edition of WOOOOO! Nation.

Being champion in multiple big leagues or in the biggest single one is a difference as well as the great storylines that go with the title reigns
