View Full Version : Conor McGregor Helps Boost TUF 22 Ratings Compared To Last Season

Conor McGregor has proven yet again why he is “notoriously” known for boosting ratings whenever he brings “The Conor McGregor Show” to town, and Wednesday’s night premiere episode of The Ultimate Fighter 22 was no exception.

The first episode of TUF 22, which aired on FOX Sports 1 on Wednesday evening from 10pm eastern time until midnight eastern time, was up 27-percent from last season’s premiere episode, as the show drew 622,000 viewers for the 10-midnight airing, an additional 66,000 viewers for the 1-3am replay.

Episode one of TUF 21 drew 490,000 viewers, which was for the new concept that featured team against team, as the Blackzillians battled the American Top Team. Prior to that, TUF 20, which featured the tournament to crown the first-ever UFC women’s strawweight champion, drew 563,000 viewers for its’ season premiere.

TUF 22: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber airs Wednesday nights on FS1 at 9pm EST. / 6pm PST
