UFC is looking to book the Fabricio Werdum vs. Cain Velasquez heavyweight title rematch in March of 2016 as a part of a pay-per-view event that would be at a 42,000-seat domed stadium in Brazil.

Wedrum had this to say of the event taking place in Brazil:

“It’s not 100% settled that it will be in Brazil yet, but it’s 99%. I already fought in Mexico, Velasquez’s turf, twice, so I think it’s fair to make it in my house now. I think it’ll be in a soccer stadium. Anderson said it would be in April, but I think it’ll be in March. The best place would be the one in Curitiba because it has a retractable roof. It would be better for me if it were in Porto Alegre, but it’s still close.” — via Combate

The company plans to stack up the card for this show with big names. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline reports that Anderson Silva may return at this event. Silva’s one-year suspension for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs expires early next year.
