Former UFC Heavyweight contender Lavar Johnson, who also fought under the Strikeforce and Bellator MMA banners, is currently jailed on felony charges of domestic violence.
Johnson allegedly beat his girlfriend to the point that she needed staples to close one of the wounds.
According to TMZ, Johnson plead not guilty to the assault charges but reportedly remains locked up in Fresno, California, on $120,000 bail.
