Get ready world, “Bones” is back.
Jon Jones took to social media on Thursday to announce his UFC return date, although he did not mention an opponent for a location.
Jones wrote, “Five more months to prepare for this win. I’ll be sure to be at my best April 23rd.”
Although MMA has yet to be officially legalized in the state of New York, the 4/23 date that Jones posted about is rumored to be the UFC 198 — UFC’s debut event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
While an opponent hasn’t been announced yet either, one would assume Jones will be fighting Daniel Cormier to attempt to recapture the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship he never actually lost inside the Octagon.
