On this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling, Kurt Angle announced that he would be retiring during TNA’s tour of the UK in January. There is some ambiguity about whether he’s announcing that he’s retiring from pro wrestling or just from TNA.

In September, Angle indicated he would be taking time off from wrestling after leaving TNA, while in October he mentioned he’s looking at a career in education or coaching.

Angle is scheduled to be a commentator for Bellator MMA’s live Spike TV show on February 19. The main event is Royce Gracie vs. Ken Shamrock, and Kurt Angle has stated he may take a fight with Shamrock later next year.

Angles said that hes reached out to wwe and got no response so I dont think they want him even if his neck was perfect.

He's going to Bellator.

Angle in MMA is a bad idea. He'd get his ass kicked. He waited way too long.

I was thinking that too, but I've read people saying he's in shape enough for it and he's got the skills. He just stayed with TNA too long.

I'm glad Angle is retired; I don't want to see him end up in a wheel chair.
