ZERO1 announced matches for their next set of bigger shows on December 19th and the New Year's Show on January 1st.
Following their defense against Takuya Sugawara & Takuma Sano the reigning Jr. Tag Champions, Shinjiro Otani & Tatsuhito Takaiwa, announced that they wanted to see out a match against the popular "Junior Stars" of Koji Kanemoto & Minoru Tanaka. Otani has made it known that none of the ZERO1 juniors are worthy challengers, but is eager to relive matches of his past as he and Takaiwa are back in the spotlight of being some of the top juniors in Japan today. The match has been set for December 19th show at Shinkiba.
Also announced for the show is Kohei Sato & Daisuke Sekimoto defendning the NWA IC Tag belts against the team of Hideki Suzuki & James Raideen. Hideki just defended the World Heavyweight belt against his tag partner, but made his intentions known that he wants a strong partner in going after the tag belts and Raideen fits that role perfectly.
Then speaking of Hideki, it has been announced that his next defense of the World belt against Masato Tanaka on the big New Year's Day show at the Korakuen Hall. Hideki stated that this is his dream match as the reigning champion to face one of the strongest fighting champions that is in the promotion. Hideki made it known that he expects a more than solid match and that he wants it no other way to prove himself as a worthy champion.
The other match that was announced for the show is Shinjiro Otani, Koji Kanemoto & Tatsuhito Takaiwa taking on the team of Ikuto Hidaka, Yuko Miyamoto & Isami Kodaka. This match in particular potentially being a strong chance for Hidaka as he has been trying his hardest to finally gain an edge of the junior veterans.
