- Trevor Lee defeated Tigre Uno to become the new TNA X Division Champion at tonight's Impact Wrestling tapings in Bethlehem, PA. The match should air on the February 2nd POP TV episode.
Lee previously held the TNA Tag Team Titles with Curt Hawkins but this is his first run with the X Division Title.
The match actually started as Shane Helms getting a title shot against Tigre, after a few weeks of Helms teasing that he was coming for Uno and the title. Helms came out to face Tigre but introduced the real challenger - Trevor Lee. Our correspondent in attendance noted that Helms and Lee looked to be a new heel duo but fans were cheering Lee.
