Notes...

Plenty of outside talent will be competing this year which will surely bring a new dynamic to the promotion. Doering specifically received a strong reaction as he has not been in Japan since last July after he suffered a knee injury and had to undergo surgery.

Daisuke Sekimoto makes his return to the Carnival since 2012 and has certainly grown in strength as well as his standing as a singles competitor, so it shall be interesting to see where he will stand now.

Super Tiger will begin competing in All Japan in March and the Carnival in April as well. Tiger has stated that he wants to pursue a new aspect of pro-wrestling, outside of the "Strong Style" that Real Japan emphasizes upon. He may not be the biggest guy in the tournament, but his grappling and MMA background should benefit him well.

Ryoji Sai will be competing as a freelance wrestler as he resigned from ZERO1 last month and looks to form his own venture with "LAND'S END". Sai is a former champion and a Fire Festival winner so he definitely should be able to hold his own in the B BLOCK.

The 24 year old Hideyoshi Kamitani has been taking charge as BJW's super rookie, having debuted in 2012, he has grown by leaps and bounds as he looks to be a future leader in the strong division of BJW. He is the current reigning BJW Tag Champion along with Ryota Hama.
