According to WrestlingDVDNetwork.com, the set is expected to cover the history of the WWE Hardcore Championship from 1998 through 2002 with video packages and a compilation of matches. The set, which is tentatively titled, “The History Of The Hardcore Championship: 24/7” will be released in September.
– WWE Hall Of Famer Paul Ellering recently spoke with MPR News about dealing with crazy wrestling fans during his active career and concerns he has about his daughter potentially dealing with the same issues.
Ellering, who is best known as the manager of the Road Warriors, spoke about fans trying to fight the wrestlers back in the day, noting that he still keeps space between himself and the fans when appearing at autograph signings today.
According to Ellering, what most concerns him about his daughter — Rachael Ellering — entering the business is the fact that she will be on the road and in front of the public on a consistent basis.
“I trust in her ability,” Ellering told MPR News. “She is a tremendous talent. Anytime you’re in the public, (there are) lots of weirdos.”
