It sounds like the WWE creative team may have changed their mind regarding pushing Braun Strowman right away. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is getting cold feet after planning for months to push Strowman. There were apparently concerns within management after his match with Dean Ambrose at the recent RAW in Philadelphia.

Strowman was at one point considered a lock to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, but WWE is now reportedly working on different possible winners. Previous plans called for Strowman to win the battle royal and then face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Despite the lumbering style he works on WWE television, we continue to hear that he’s actually a talented performer capable of a lot more than we’re currently seeing.
