Jim Ross says Bobby Roode and Eric Young would both be good additions to NXT to help teach the younger talent just starting in the wrestling business. In a new blog entry on his website, the WWE Hall of Famer said Roode is one of the best ring hands in wrestling right now.

“WWE is smart to be looking to sign Bobby Roode who I feel is one of the best in ring hands in the biz. Hiring Eric Young would be a nice ‘get’ too. Both can perform with any talent no matter that talent’s skill set,” Ross said of the two former TNA stars possible joining WWE/NXT. “Young talents cannot improve working regularly with people of the same skill set or less than them.”

The former WWE VP of Talent Relations also commented on Maryse returning to help her husband The Miz on RAW. Ross says their current storyline reminds him of Marc Mero and Sable in the Attitude era.

“Smart booking by WWE at first glance of placing Maryse with her husband The Miz on WWE TV after Wrestlemania,” Ross said. “Miz needed a bit of new, sizzle and his lovely wife looks like she may well be the answer. Reminds me somewhat of Marc Mero and his then wife Sable.”
