All the teams and matches have been announce for the upcoming "Global Tag League War 2016", which begins on April 21 and runs until the final match which is set for May 4.
● Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr. (Reining GHC Tag Champions)
● Takashi Sugiura & Shelton X Benjamin
● Minoru Suzuki & Takashi Iizuka
● Naomichi Marufuji & Toru Yano
● Katsuhiko Nakajima & Masa Kitamiya (formerly Mitsuhiro Kitamiya)
● Muhammad Yone & Quiet Storm
● Go Shiozaki & Maybach Taniguchi
● Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima [NJPW]
This years league will take place in one single block with all 8 teams competing for the top two spots leading into the final match.
