As noted earlier, WWE Superstar Adam Rose was arrested early this morning in Florida for domestic battery and tampering with a witness after an incident with his wife.
PWInsider obtained the criminal report affidavit filed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office, which states that Rose and his wife were arguing when Rose grabbed her by the face and pulled her closer to his own face while yelling. She called 911, but Rose took the phone from her to stop her, and later admitted that to police.
The battery charge (grabbing his wife by the face in a violent manner) is a misdemeanor while the tampering charge (preventing her from speaking to the police) is a felony.
Rose is currently serving a 60-day suspension for his second violation of WWE’s talent wellness policy.
Back in 2014, WWE updated their talent wellness policy to include zero-tolerance provisions for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault:
“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.”
