UFC reportedly set a record for the largest crowd to attend the UFC weigh-in festivities in company history for the official UFC 198 weigh-ins on Friday afternoon.
15,000 fans were in attendance for the official UFC 198 weigh-ins on Friday, beating the previous company record of 10,000 fans for their official UFC 189 weigh-ins held last July for the Conor McGregor vs. Chad Mendes fight.
Headlined by Fabricio Werdum vs. Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight Championship and featuring Vitor Belfort vs. Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Cris Cyborg vs. Leslie Smith, UFC 198 takes place this Saturday, May 14, 2016 from Curitiba, Brazil.
