Several years ago, Anthony Pettis was booked to drop down to featherweight and challenge then-UFC champion Jose Aldo in a meeting of UFC champions at UFC 163.
Now, the former UFC lightweight champion appeared headed to that weight class following a string of decision defeats.

Pettis (18-5) posted the above picture on his Instagram page recently, adding that 145 pounds was in the works. The 29-year-old continues to work at Jackson-Wink MMA in New Mexico, along with his ties to Roufusport in Milwaukee.
