One of the running narratives heading into the highly anticipated Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt showdown at UFC 200 is the belief that Lesnar, who is fighting perhaps the heaviest hitter in all of MMA, doesn’t like to get hit. This is a point that UFC Hall Of Famer Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell brought up while breaking down the upcoming bout.

Liddell spoke with HollywoodLife.com this week and gave his opinion on the upcoming Lesnar-Hunt fight.

“He was a good college wrestler, but he is afraid to get hit. That makes things dangerous — when you have a guy that can punch, and if he can stop Brock’s takedowns a little bit, then [Brock] is in a lot of trouble.”

Liddell continued, explaining that while Lesnar no doubt has heart, he is “very afraid of the punch.”

“I mean, he is tough and has heart because he will still fight and still keep coming and I will give him that. He has heart and he fights hard, but he is very afraid of the punch. So you just have to start punching him!”

The Lesnar-Hunt fight is scheduled to take place as part of the upcoming landmark UFC 200 event, which features the highly anticipated rematch for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones.

UFC 200 is set to go down live from the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, July 9, 2016.

I hope that Brock doesn't go into this fight trying to prove that he isn't afraid to get hit. I think he needs to take Hunt down. He needs to be smart.
