Following a series of injury-related setbacks, Hideo Itami wrestled for the first time in over a year at NXT's live event in Winter Haven, Florida.
He joined TM-61, the tag team of Shane Thorne and Nick Miller, for a match against NXT Champion Samoa Joe, Wesley Blake and Tino Sabbatelli.

Itami has been out of action since May of last year due to a shoulder injury that required surgery. He was only expected to be sidelined for six months, but complications from the procedure delayed his return.
