Yet another fight has been announced for the upcoming UFC 202 pay-per-view event in August this week.
According to Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting, another interesting fight with ties to the UFC 202 main event is being targeted for the show, as Artem Lobov and Chris Avila are expected to meet on the 8/20 fight card.
Lobov is a friend and training partner of UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor, who fights Nate Diaz in a 170-pound rematch in the main event of the show. Meanwhile, Lobov’s expected opponent, Avila, is a protege of Nick and Nate Diaz.
Headlined by the long-awaited rematch between McGregor and Diaz, UFC 202 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
