– WWE taped the following matches last night in Grand Rapids for this week’s Main Event episode: Sheamus vs. Titus O’Neil, Becky Lynch vs. the returning Alicia Fox plus Jack Swagger, Apollo Crews and Golden Truth vs. The Ascension and The Vaudevillains.
– Darren Young will debut a new theme song on this week’s SmackDown. As noted, Young and Bob Backlund will be appearing on MizTV with Young’s Battleground opponent this Thursday, WWE IC Champion The Miz.
– WWE is working with former WWE/WCW star and UK legend Dave Taylor again. Taylor is being sent to Harley Race’s 2016 Wrestling Camp next month to scout and evaluate talents. “Squire” is replacing Gerald Brisco, who was previously announced for the camp but had a scheduling conflict.
– EVOLVE included the following in their e-mail alerts on their relationship with WWE after their footage was used in the WWE CWC Bracketology special on the WWE Network:
EVOLVE, WWN Supershow and DGUSA footage was featured prominently in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic Bracketology special on The WWE Network. You can currently watch it on the WWE Network On Demand portion to get ready for the first WWE Cruiserweight Classic program on Wednesday night on the WWE Network. This is simply a progression as the relationship between WWE and WWN develops. There is no telling what will happen next.
