One of the WWE SummerSlam main events on 8/21 in Brooklyn will see Seth Rollins take on Finn Balor to crown the first-ever WWE Universal Champion.Balor defeated Roman Reigns in the main event of tonight’s RAW from Pittsburgh to earn the shot against Rollin.
Balor and Reigns both won Fatal 4 Ways earlier in the night to qualify for the main event. Rollins was added to the SummerSlam match because he’s the RAW #1 draft pick.
It was announced earlier in the evening that the RAW brand is introducing the new WWE Universal Championship since Dean Ambrose has the WWE Championship on SmackDown and RAW viewers deserve a world championship.
