WWE suspends Eva Marie

STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE has suspended Natalie Coyle (Eva Marie) for 30 days effective immediately for her first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”

Eva Marie joins Alberto Del Rio and Paige, both of whom begin their 30-day suspensions today, Aug. 18, for violating the WWE Wellness Policy.

With just over two days remaining until Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view, WWE will be forced to address the six-woman tag-team match that was announced earlier this week, as Eva Marie was scheduled to join Alexa Bliss and Natalya to take on the trio of Becky Lynch, Naomi and Carmella.

With Eva’s recent storyline centering around her finding ways to get out of matches by any means necessary, one would assume the WWE creative team will not have to brainstorm too long before coming up with a solution to explain why she won’t be able to compete.
