During a recent podcast appearance, UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping revealed some information he heard regarding what it was that Jon Jones took that resulted in him testing positive for estrogen blockers.

According to “The Count,” who spoke about the topic during the latest episode of “The Countdown with Michael Bisping” (listen above), claimed it was a generic version of Cialis that the former UFC 205-pound champion took that caused his positive drug test leading up to his scheduled rematch against current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier at last month’s UFC 200 pay-per-view.

“It turns out Jon Jones didn’t take the estrogen blockers or whatever it was and, therefore, he may be coming back sooner rather than later,” Bisping said during the show. “I hear that the supplement in question — and it’s not even a supplement — was a sex aid, Cialis, but it was a generic version — it wasn’t the brand name.”

Bisping continued, explaining that the generic Cialis apparently had estrogen blockers in It, which is the banned substance that got him flagged by USADA for the Anti-Doping Policy violation.

“Apparently has estrogen blockers in it,” said Bisping. “That’s what he took and he’s maybe just looking at a little slap on the wrist.”

As noted by himself and later backed up by UFC President Dana White, “Bones” Jones is expected to end up getting cleared and will be able to return to the Octagon much sooner than the minimum of two years he would have been sidelined had he been forced to serve the mandatory suspension connected with his offense.
