The card is starting to take shape for WWE Backlash, the SmackDown brand’s first exclusive pay-per-view event of the new era.
AJ Styles defeated Dolph Ziggler on this week’s show to earn a shot at WWE Champion Dean Ambrose.
Backlash will also feature a 6-Pack Challenge for the new SmackDown Women’s Championship featuring Nikki Bella, Natalya, Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Becky Lynch and Carmella.
The first SmackDown Tag Team Champions will also be crowned when Backlash hosts the finals of a tag team tournament.
WWE Backlash takes place on Sunday, September 11th from Richmond, Virginia.
