Goldberg Reportedly Signs Deal To Work WWE Royal Rumble

We haven’t seen the last of Bill Goldberg in a WWE ring. After a shocking squash victory over Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, Goldberg has reportedly agreed to a deal that will see him work the Royal Rumble 30-man battle royal for the second time in his career. According to James’s McKenna of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the deal was signed some time over the past week. As such, the decision for Goldberg to go over Lesnar in such decisive fashion was also made just days ago.

The Royal Rumble takes place from the Alamodome in San Antonio on 1/29/17.

Why put him in the Rumble? Wouldn't it make more sense from a booking point of view to have Goldberg have a rematch with Lesnar. Unless Lesnar goes in the Rumble .. now that would be cool. lol
