With the successful launch of WWE’s new 205 Live series, it’s worth noting that Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn have been directly running the show. There has been speculation on Triple H running things since he was a driving force behind the Cruiserweight Classic, but that’s not the case. Shortly after the brand split, the ‘different feeling’ of SmackDown Live had a lot of fans wondering who was in charge there, then similar reports came out that Vince was in fact still running both RAW and SmackDown.
Vince has been very hands-on with 205 Live and the cruiserweight talent in an effort to get them to execute his vision for the show. Triple H likely has some input, but it’s almost entirely a Vince & Dunn production.
