Drew Galloway and the Hardy brothers’ Impact Wrestling contracts are expiring soon. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, none of them have signed new deals with Anthem Sports as of this week. WWE does have interest in Matt and Jeff Hardy, and with the company expanding in the UK they may have interest in Galloway again.
Dave Meltzer reports that The Hardys will likely stay with Impact Wrestling, where they can have a guaranteed contract that gives them creative control, and full control of their outside bookings. Matt Hardy’s outside bookings have increased substantially since his Broken character took off. The travel schedule is also much lesser with Impact Wrestling.
Galloway has reportedly gotten offers from outside of Impact Wrestling, but indicated on a recent edition of Jim Ross’ Ross Report podcast that he was planning to sign a new Impact deal soon.
