Stephanie McMahon has once again expressed her interest in bringing Ronda Rousey to the WWE. There had been some debate as to whether or not WWE’s interest in her had decreased since her loss at UFC 207. During an interview with ESPN (http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=19033581)however, Stephanie made it clear nothing has changed on their end.

“I know she loves WWE and we love her. It would be a match made in heaven. Hopefully one day we’ll have the opportunity to make that happen.”

Stephanie McMahon told TMZ reporters last year they would be interested in signing Rousey.

Stephanie’s comments to TMZ were before Rousey was knocked out by Amanda Nunes in her last UFC appearance however. Following the UFC 207 bout, former WWE personality Jon Coachman (now with ESPN) stated his belief that WWE would no longer be interested in her.

Sorry no chance. You can't bring in her at any point. Perception matters. That performance mattered. https://t.co/0HGPgVNLod

Michael listen to me. It will NEVER happen. They are not in the business of bringing in a broken star and rebuilding her. https://t.co/JUOAVig2ov

Considering Stephanie’s most recent comments to ESPN, it is safe to assume Coachman was wrong in his assertion. Rousey last appeared on WWE programming at WrestleMania 31, during an in-ring segment with Stephanie and the Rock.
