Huge Update On Sting's New Look - Green & Red Facepaint
Last week, it was reported in the PWTorch Newsletter that Sting was scheduled to debut a "new look" at Bound for Glory on October 22nd. Although details were unclear exactly what to can expect from Sting's new appearance, it was believed that Sting's new look would be an update to his current "Crow" gimmick and not anything too drastic. The new look was described as comparable to "new model year" improvements - more of an evolution than a radical change.
Last week on TNA iMAPCT!, we saw the first glimpse of Sting's new look during a video package hyping his "Career vs. Title" match with Jeff Jarrett at Bound for Glory. The video featured Sting wearing his "crow" facepaint - with streaks of green down the left side of his face.
TNA acknowledged Sting's change of facepaint on their website this week and hinted that there could be more of that to come. They questioned if Sting was sending some sort of a message to Jarrett.
This week on iMPACT!, we saw a video package featuring Sting wearing yet another modified version of the "crow" facepaint - this time, with red streaks.
At this time, it is unknown whether Sting will settle on green or red for his Bound for Glory match of if we'll see something new. We'll find out October 22nd.
