New WWE champion, Jinder Mahal, plans to have a celebration that will be felt all the way in India tonight on Smackdown. WWE has announced that Jinder will throw a “Punjabi Celebration” tonight in honor of his championship win.
Jinder will most likely have to defend this title against former champion Randy Orton at some point. Also, waiting in the wings is the returning Rusev. The injured Bulgarian insisted he be granted a WWE title opportunity at Money in the Bank in July.
If WWE plans to have Jinder defend against Rusev at MITB, it will either be a heel vs. heel match, or one of them (most likely Rusev), will turn face beforehand.
Last year at MITB, Dean Ambrose captured and cashed-in the briefcase on the same night. A lot could happen with the WWE title in the next couple of months.
