Tyson Kidd has begun working for WWE in a non-wrestling role. According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kidd was backstage at tapings this week, working as a producer.

WWE’s “Producers” used to be known as “Agents” and help to outline matches. Current WWE producers include Billy Kidman, D-Von Dudley and Dean Malenko. Michael Hayes and Road Dogg are both senior producers.

Kidd is also expected back on the next season of Total Divas.

Tyson Kidd was injured after taking a muscle-buster from Samoa Joe on June 7th 2015. The injury he sustained was severe, and is often compared to that suffered by Christopher Reeve. According to Kidd, he was told only 5% of people even survive his injury, let alone are able to walk.

The injury resulted in a steel rod being placed in Kidd’s neck. He is not expected to be able to wrestle ever again.

What good is a recovery if I fumble it?
