We begin with a look at Drew Gulak’s campaign to stop the flying on 205 Live.

We are in Birmingham, Alabama and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Corey Graves.

Mustafa Ali vs Drew Gulak in a Two Out of Three Falls Match

Fall Number One

They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and Ali with a waist lock but Gulak with a standing switch. Ali with a wrist lock but Gulak with a reversal. Ali with a reversal and a hammer lock to take Gulak to the mat. Gulak with a side head lock and he holds on when Ali tries to send him off the ropes. Ali with a shoulder tackle. Ali avoids Gulak and flips around. Ali with a crucifix for a near fall. Ali with another near fall. Ali wtih a rollup for the three count.

Winner Fall Number One: Mustafa Ali

Fall Number Two

Drew shows some frustration before the fall starts. Ali grabs the leg but Gulak goes to the ropes and connects with an elbow on the break. Drew with a snap mare and elbow drop. Gulak with an Irish whip and Ali floats over and hits a drop kick for a near fall. Gulak sends Ali to the apron but Ali with a forearm and a shoulder. Ali flips back into the ring and he gets a rollup for a near fall.

Ali goes for a monkey flip but Gulak pushes Ali to the floor. Gulak goes to the floor and sends Ali back into the ring. Gulak with a head butt for a near fall. Gulak with a reverse chin lock. Gulak sends Ali to the mat again. Gulak taunts Ali and kicks him. Ali blocks a kick as he shows some anger and Ali with a drop kick and clothesline. Ali with a back elbow. Gulak with an Irish whip and Ali goes to the apron and hits an enzuigiri. Ali with a rolling neck breaker. Gulak goes to the floor and Ali with a baseball slide to the back of the head. Ali goes to the floor but Gulak sends Ali into Yeatonville.

Ali with a head scissors on the floor. Ali rolls Gulak back into the ring and he goes to the turnbuckles. Gulak grabs his foot and pulls him off the turnbuckles. Gulak sends Ali into the middle turnbuckle with a cravate and Gulak with a Dragon Sleeper and Ali taps out.

Fall Number Three

Gulak kicks Ali into the corner and Gulak goes for a suplex but Ali counters with an inside cradle for a near fall. Gulak with a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Gulak with a reverse chin lock. Ali flips out of the corner and then he goes to the turnbuckles and tries for a head scissors but Gulak counters with a power bomb and he gets a near fall. Ali lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex and then he hits a reverse rana.

Gulak rolls to the floor to regroup. Ali goes to the apron and he goes up top while Gulak wants to rest. Ali hits a somersault splash onto Gulak and both men are down. Ali rolls Gulak back into the ring and Ali goes up top for a cross body but Gulak rolls through and gets a near fall. Ali with an uppercut and he tries for a tornado DDT but Gulak lands on his feet and he suplexes Ali into the turnbuckles for a near fall.

Ali with an uppercut but Gulak with a forearm. Ali with a boot to the head. Gulak with a head butt to the midsection. Ali with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Ali with an O’Connor Roll but Gulak counters with a Dragon sleeper. Ali with a rollup for a near fall. Gulak with a clothesline for a near fall. Gulak looks around and he goes to the turnbuckles. Gulak goes up top with one boot and he looks around. Drew goes to the turnbuckles and Ali with a Frankensteiner. Ali goes up top for the inward 450 splash and he gets the three count.

Winner: Mustafa Ali (Two Falls to One)

We take a look at Ariya Daivari vs Akira Tozawa from Raw when Titus O’Neil stopped the match.

We see footage from WWE.com of Apollo Crews checking on Akira Tozawa. Crews says that this business is a marathon and not a sprint. Apollo says he was angry at Titus for that match against Braun Strowman. He says Titus was standing for him. Tozawa says that Titus had no right to stop the match. Crews says that Titus was thinking out for Tozawa. Apollo says that he wants to make sure that Tozawa is ready because he is his friend.

Brian Kendrick walks in the back as we go to commercial.

Brian Kendrick vs Devin Bennett

Before the match starts, Brian asks Devin if he is from the same city as Jack Gallagher. He asks Devin if he knows Jack Gallagher. Brian says everyone is related over there. He asks if the people are proud of Jack and he says they are. Brian says things work a little differently in America. There are two types of competitors. There are people like him who are competitors and fight their ways through the WWE. Then there are people like Jack Gallagher who are goofy and take spots away from people. He asks Devin if they admire clowns in England.

Brian asks if Devin will do the smart thing and quit and walk away or is he deluded enough to think he can beat Brian Kendrick.

Devin says that he can.

Kendrick with a knee and forearms to the back. Kendrick with a suplex and then he chokes Bennett in the ropes and punches Devin. Kendrick chops Bennett in the corner and he wants to know if Devin is a fighter or a clown. Bennett with a slap. Kendrick changes the look on his face and he kicks Bennett in the head and applies the Captain’s Hook and Bennett taps out.

Winner: Brian Kendrick

We take a look back at the I Quit Match from last week’s 205 Live.

TJ Perkins is in the interview area and he is asked about his challenge from last week.

TJ asks if she means Rich Swann because he is the only one who appears to be upset. Rich hates finishing second to him. Rich is bothered that TJ beat him in the Cruiserweight Classic. TJ wants to make it up to Rich. Next week, he will arrange for some real competition in a tag match. Each man picks a partner and may the best Cruiserweight win.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ariya Daivari addresses the crowd in his native language. He says he has competed all over the world and there is no place better than his home country of Iran. He says that Iranian wrestling has been a tradition for 3,000 years. Those who are successful become legends in Iran. He mentions Emam Ali-Habibi who won gold in 1956 and he defeated someone from Japan for the gold medal. History repeated itself last night. Tozawa lacks honor and to ask for a rematch with his shoulder in its condition, it is a dishonor.

Akira Tozawa vs Ariya Daviari

Tozawa avoids Daivari and chops Daivari. Daivari flinches and Tozawa with a jab followed by a drop kick and a kick. Tozawa with a back senton for a near fall. Daivari goes into the ropes to avoid Tozawa. Tozawa punches Daivari. Daivari with an Irish whip and he misses a splash. Tozawa goes up top but Daivari goes to the floor and then he drops Tozawa arm on the ropes and then he sends Tozawa shoulder first into the turnbuckles. Daivari sends Tozawa shoulder first into the turnbuckles with a hammer lock.

Daivari with forearms to the injured shoulder and he pulls at the arm on the turnbuckle. Daivari returns to the arm around the turnbuckle as the referee warns Daivari. Daivari with a near fall. Daivari with an arm bar and the other arm is trapped under Tozawa’s throat. Tozawa with punches but Daivari with a forearm. Tozawa with an elbow and a sunset flip attempt but Daivari with a boot and knee drop to the injured arm.

Tozawa goes to the floor and Daivari follows. Tozawa is sent into the ring steps and then Tozawa’s arm is put between the ring steps and ring post. Tozawa with a kick to Daivari and he gets free and kicks Daivari. Tozawa with a rana and forearm. Tozawa sets for the suicide dive head butt and he tries to avoid landing on the injured arm but he reaggravates the injury to the left arm.

They return to the ring and Tozawa goes up top and he leaps over Daivari. Daivari with an arm wringer and he gets a near fall. Daivari picks up Tozawa and sets for a suplex but he takes too long and Tozawa with an inside cradle. Tozawa with a kick and Shining Wizard for a near fall. Tozawa with a back heel kick but he misses an enzuigiri. Daivari with Divorce Court and then he goes up top and hits a frog splash to the back but Tozawa kicks out.

Daivari with a near fall but Tozawa rolls through and gets the three count and he might have had a hand on the tights.

Winner: Akira Tozawa

After the match, Daivari sends Tozawa into the ring post.
