– Dana Brooke has launched a non-profit organization in the name of her boyfriend Dallas McCarver, who passed away at the age of 26 on Monday. TMZ reported that Dallas was found dead at home in Florida on Monday evening after apparently choking on his food. Dana told TMZ that a friend found the pro bodybuilder just after midnight Tuesday morning, shortly after the two spoke on the phone. He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that there appeared to be no signs of foul play.
Dana said Dallas told her he was about to make dinner during their last call. He told her he loved her and said goodbye. Dallas worked out earlier in the day on Monday and seemed to be doing fine. Dana confirmed that cause of death is believed to be choking on good and that it does not appear he was trying to harm himself. TMZ noted that McCarver had a health scare back in March of this year when he collapsed onstage at the 2017 Arnold Classic in Australia but he appeared to be doing a lot better recently.
Dana has a GoFundMe campaign going to help launch the foundation at this link. They have raised $39,575 of a $150,000 goal as of this writing, with 445 donors.
