WWE returns to Madison Square Garden on December 26th for the annual holiday tour. MSG has announced several top matches for the show, including:
John Cena vs. Samoa Joe
The Shield vs. Bray Wyatt & The Bar
Braun Strowman vs. Kane
Other Superstars advertised to appear include Finn Balor, The Miz, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Bayley, Matt Hardy, Enzo Amore and more.
John Cena and Samoa Joe had been working together on live events this summer prior to Samoa Joe suffering a knee injury that kept him out for several months. House show matchups are often an indication of feuds we’ll see on WWE television in the months to come, so fans hoping for a full Cena vs. Joe program might be in luck.
Cena returns to the ring next weekend at Survivor Series as part of Team SmackDown in the traditional team elimination match.
